Acelloria Launches ‘XEstimate’ in Beta Platform

Acelloria.com recently launched the beta version of ‘XEstimate’ in Canada, an innovative tool that calculates the value of a home based on similar surrounding properties to help with home-related decisions, whether you’re buying, selling, renovating or refinancing.  Acelloria’s XEstimate, generated by an in-house team of experts, is an excellent and easy way we can provide valuable financial information and statistics to buyers who may not have access to such calculations otherwise. Its’ main goal is to improve the buying process by educating the buyer in all aspects of the buying process, including property assessment. Plus, it’s something our users have been constantly requesting since many are first home buyers and have little to no knowledge of the real estate industry. It’s no shock in today’s technologically advanced market consumers are hungry for more information about home values and for local expert advice.

Acelloria’s XEstimate  is launching in beta to a local test market, specifically, the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario. The GTA area is an early adopting, technologically knowledgeable group, making it a great launching ground for a new beta product. The beta launch of Acelloria includes listings of properties currently on the market in the GTA, profiles of real estate professionals and private sellers, and provides an opportunity to get feedback, watch user interaction and refine the estimates and experience.

The XEstimate  begins with a number built from local real estate information, including prices of recently sold similar homes and homes that are currently on the market, and collects input from residents- agents, buyers, and owners - to ultimately improve the estimates in those local areas. In the future as the product begins to further develop, Acelloria will include more feedback from local professionals, and develop supplementary, hyper-local user information.

While we hope that Acelloria’s XEstimate will give users more useful information about their homes, we recognize that these estimated calculations don’t replace the need for a professional appraisal. The XEstimate is just a starting point.
